Picks & Scoring

For each race, you pick two drivers who you think will do well. You gain the points they score in that race. The catch is, you can only pick each driver three times during the course of the season. So make sure to use your picks wisely!

Timing

Picks can be made, deleted, or replaced anytime until the start of qualifying. We send email reminders, which you can sign up for on your Account page. So when you get a reminder, make sure to check the practice times to see who's going fast that weekend, then make your picks and start cheering on your drivers!

Example

For example, if you picked Lewis Hamilton and Yuki Tsunoda in the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix, you would have gotten 18 points for Hamilton's 2nd place and 8 points for Tsunoda's 6th place, for a total of 28 points. But now, you could only pick Hamilton or Tsunoda two more times during the remainder of the 2021 season.

Strategy

You want to make sure to pick drivers on their best weekends of the year. So in the example above, even though you got 18 points from Hamilton, you would've rather chosen him on a weekend where he won the race. And even though you only got 8 points from Tsunoda, 6th place was his best finish of the season so far, making it a very good pick.

Measurements

On the standings page, you can see your total points as well as your pick accuracy. Pick accuracy is a measure of how many points you earned from your picks in relation to the maximum you could have gotten.

For example, if you got 50 points from three picks of Lewis Hamilton in 2021, your accuracy would be 50/75 on those picks, or 66.7%. That's because the maximum possible points from three Hamilton picks would have been 75 (3 wins, 25 points each).
